Sanctuary brings back its award-winning music series, Sundays in Paradise -- the perfect way to savor an afternoon of hip and uniquely soulful music, matched with food & drink selections as spectacular as the surrounding vistas.
Enjoy live music by favorite performers, continuing this Sunday, February 17, with a concert featuring the smooth jazz of national recording artist Andre Delano. The music begins at 3pm, and you can relax on the grassy lawn overlooking Paradise Valley with a gourmet picnic experience from 2-6pm.
Food by Sanctuary’s award-winning Chef Beau MacMillan enhances the afternoon, with specialties that reflect the mood of each performance.
For preferred lawn placement at the event, reserve a Gourmet Picnic Package for only $65* during Andre’s special engagement this Sunday, Feb. 17. Your package includes admission for two, a choice of appetizers created to suit the music, just the right bottle of wine, and even a blanket for the afternoon.
Call 480.607.2300 and provide credit card number when booking for up to four. For larger groups, ask about the VIP area with couches. (Remember there’s no outside food or drink allowed, and pets need to stay home.)
The spring season of Sundays in Paradise continues with music by other favorites, each with their own fans. Walt Richardson returns to Sanctuary on February 24, bringing his one-of-a-kind blend of reggae, jazz and folk.
Sugahbeat follows on March 3, lighting up the afternoon with their popular selection that combines great covers with catchy, upbeat original songs featuring pop, rock, folk, calypso and more.
Taking the stage on March 10* is the Matt Rogers band which stars this nationally renowned American Idol finalist, also known for his TV show “There Goes the Neighborhood.”
Khani Cole, appearing March 17, is known for her smooth jazz vocals. Her albums show the harmonic and lyrical depth that earned her an invitation to perform at the Hollywood Bowl with George Benson.
Mel Bridges concludes the spring season on March 24 with an afternoon featuring his unique mix of R&B, soul and reggae. No matter what you’ve got coming up on Monday, you’ll enjoy it more after Sundays like these!
