FRY’S FOOD STORES MAKE $5000 DONATION TO THE JUNIOR LEAGUE OF PHOENIX FOR BREAST CANCER DETECTION
Contribution to support On-Site Mammogram Screenings at the League’s Annual Rummage Sale.
WHAT: The Junior League of Phoenix will offer free on-site mammograms at their Annual Rummage Sale thanks in part to a generous donation from Fry’s Food Stores. The donation is a result of the Fry’s 2012 Giving Hope a Hand Campaign, which ran in all 121 stores promoting Breast Cancer Awareness. Through partnerships with Fry’s Food Stores and the Phoenix Affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, the Junior League of Phoenix will provide free mammograms to the first 40 uninsured or underinsured women who qualify.
WHEN: Saturday, February 23, 2013
Mammograms will be offered on a first come, first serve basis starting at 8 am.

WHY: To provide opportunities for awareness, education, and early detection of breast cancer to the community of Phoenix. Additionally, all proceeds from the Rummage Sale benefit local community programs and trainings sponsored by the Junior League of Phoenix.
ADMISSION: The Rummage Sale is open to the public. Admission is $5.00 until noon and is free from 1 pm to 4 pm. Parking will be $10.00.
