The diverse group of artists represented by the Larsen Gallery will showcase new work including paintings, sculptures and photographs for our upcoming NEW exhibition. The Opening Reception will include artists speaking about their work to patrons as well as hors d’oeuvres and a wine reception.
New paintings will be included by local favorite Anne Coewho will be returning to her cowgirl images that collectors have sought after for years. Candice Eisenfeld will be showing several new works with her gorgeous palette and the juxtaposition of traditional landscapes within abstract painting. We will also be receiving several new figurative works from Santa Fe artist Jamie Chase and magic realism paintings from New York artist Christopher Pelley.
Scott Duce, who is also from New York, will showcase his landscapes and the abstract work of Alabama artist Dick Jemison will also be featured. The vibrant western landscapes by Santa Fe artist Bill Schenck and Arizona artist Merrill Mahaffey will also be exhibited.
In addition to painting we will have new photographic work by Linda Ingraham who continues to explore emotions inspired by nature. Tucson artist William Lesch will have several new photographs that he is now mounting on aluminum that gives the work a painterly vibe and will included images from a recent raft trip down the mighty Colorado River.
Larsen Gallery recently began representing the work of James Myford, a sculptor from Pennsylvania and the exhibition will include several of his aluminum and metal work. The fiber work of Iowa artist Mary Merkel Hess and the stunning wood sculptures by Roger Asay and Rebecca Davis will also be on display.
