The Celebration of Fine Art, a perennial favorite among art lovers from across the country, will open its working studio and art show with 100 artists Saturday, Jan. 12, 2013 at the southwest corner of Hayden Rd. and the Loop 101 in Scottsdale. The event will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Sunday, March 24.
The Celebration of Fine Art is a juried, invitational show and art sale with more than 40,000 square feet of working studios and works of art by 100 renowned and emerging artists from across the country. During the 10-week event, visitors, who range from serious collectors to first-time buyers, come from around the world to interact with the artists in a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
Styles at the show range from realistic to impressionistic, Western realism, abstract to contemporary. The outdoor sculpture garden, will return with nearly 100 pieces of life-sized and monumental sculpture including works from Kyle Ashley, Mark Carroll, Gedion Nyanhongo, Dave L Mure Jr., Paul Rhymer, Michael Jones, Ken Newman, and Bryce Pettit to name a few. There will also be a working kiln where visitors can watch daily firings.
The show is open to guests of all ages. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and military, and children under 12 are admitted for free. Tickets are all-event passes, good for the entire 10-week show during which attendees will have the opportunity to see art transform and meet the artists.
