Comic-enthusiasts Will Revel As CityScape Delivers Water Activities For All Ages & $2 Food and Drink Specials

CityScape Phoenix is closing Central Avenue and cooling things down for Comicon fans this year from May 25 – May 28 with the H2Oasis featuring water rides and activities for all ages and the return of the highly anticipated “Quest Fest.”Located in the heart of Downtown Phoenix just two blocks away from the Phoenix Convention Center, CityScape will transform into a comic-lovers dream. Spectators and cosplayers will unite as they slip and slide down Central and cool down from all the fun around the city with giant inflatable water slides, a fish pipe water ride and many other family friendly activities as part of the H2Oasis.    For those looking to be a part of the total fandemonium that is Comicon, select CityScape restaurants will also be offering $2 food and drink specials as part of the “Quest Fest” challenge and Patriots Park will provide a “Cooling Station” for event goers complete with shaded areas over the splash pad, misters, phone charging stations and a seating area with games.Comicon festivities at CityScape include:  “H20asis”On Friday, May 26 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., families and comic-enthusiasts alike are invited to cool off and beat the heat with a variety of water activations setup on Central Avenue including water slides, a fish pipe ride, mermaids and more. This family friendly event is free and open to the public.“Quest Fest”From Thursday, May 25 through Saturday, May 27 from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., “The Quest” is on at CityScape! Collect five buttons to earn a Hero’s Prize by enjoying the $2 offering at select CityScape retailers. Once at least five buttons are collected, it's time to celebrate at “The Fest” where the first 300 winners to complete the challenge will receive a portable charging stick. There will be no cover charge and LUSTRE will offer beer specials and entertainment from 7:00 p.m. until midnight.
