Description

Spectrum Inspired is determined to normalize and destigmatize Autism Spectrum Disorders by giving families touched by ASD the opportunity to get high-quality photos through a locally based, globally connected community of professional lifestyle photographers committed to making family photo sessions more fun and comfortable for every member of the family.

By the way, it’s all free. And on Saturday, April 22, Spectrum Inspired is partnering with Venue at the Grove for the biggest photobomb Phoenix has seen, the Pop-Up Pic Op

More than 20 local lifestyle photographers will donate their time and artistic eyes from 8:30-11 a.m. to create honest, unposed images of families around the shaded, lush grounds of Venue at the Grove. Imagine a brother and sister darting from shadow to shadow along white picket fences, a father helping his daughter climb up a tree, a mother play-wrestling with her son in the grass. The group of talented photographers will capture all of these scenes and more as they create priceless photos to give to hundreds of families.

Papa John’s will provide snacks while children, parents and photographers find the perfect spots for capturing memories. And families can avoid the wait and reserve a time slot online at phxfamilyphotoday.com or just show up and explore the grounds or simply enjoy the scenery from a blanket on the grass while they wait.

The Pop-Up Pic Op will give families a once-in-a-lifetime way to celebrate Autism Awareness Month and create memories worth much more than a 1,000 words.

If anyone can’t make it on April 22, but still wants to show their support, Spectrum Inspired has set a goal to raise $5000 during the month of April to continue their work of destigmatizing Autism. More information about how to donate can be found at https://spectruminspired.org.
