Wine and Jazz Walk in Chandler

Now that the weather is cooling, what better way to welcome the arrival of fall than to support a good cause with a few good friends at the Wine & Jazz Walk on September 25, from 6-9 p.m. at the Promenade at Fulton Ranch. The center is located at the northeast corner of Chandler Heights Rd. and Alma School Rd. in Chandler. Admission is just $10 per person with 100% of the entry fee going to ICAN, a non-profit offering free out-of-school-programs for Chandler’s at-risk youth.

Guests will enjoy wine tasting, live jazz by some of the Valley’s favorite musicians and special offerings inside each store at this special event. A main attraction will be the wine-tasting area presented by Cork, a restaurant located at The Promenade that received the 2009 Award of Excellence from Wine Spectator. Guests can choose from among more than 30 wines to sample inside the tasting area. The Promenade’s delectable array of restaurants will also offer food sampling under the wide, covered walkways at the shopping center.
In addition to dining attractions, popular local jazz ensembles will perform at various locations within the shopping center. The Energy Trio, The Pete Pancrazi Duo, The Vandal/Hancock Duo and Laurie Fagan will delight listeners throughout the evening. Indoor attractions will play a part in the event, as well, with each merchant offering special in-store treats. Examples include Zolton’s Salon, which will offer free makeup consultations, $5 mini manicures and refreshments. Enchantments Home & Baby will host free tastings of Moonstruck Chocolates and a jewelry and flip flop trunk show by local artist Sherie Curtis of “A Little Bling.” Accents of Europe will offer free home decorating consultations, refreshments and more.
In addition to all these attractions, the first 75 event attendees will receive goodie bags stuffed with special offers from Promenade merchants.
“With the weather cooling down, we’re all looking ways to enjoy the pleasant fall evenings,” said Stephanie Case, Marketing Director for the Promenade at Fulton Ranch. “This is a wonderful opportunity to get out and support a great cause while having a great time. In vino veritas!”
