While it’s several moons away, believe it or not, people are already thinking about Halloween. And what better way to prepare for the haunting holiday than to fuel it with some vino? If your travel plans this fall include a journey through the vineyards of Napa, California’s wine region, then a stop at Ladera Vineyards is a must.
From August through October, Ladera Vineyards will host (by appointment only) Twilight Ghost Tours through their historic Ghost Winery. The tour showcases a lanter-led tour of the property and a tasting of Napa Valley’s best cabs. Ladera’s 2008 Sauvignon Blanc, 2005 Syrah, 2007 Malbec and their signature 2008 Howell Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon will be sipped along the way. The Halloween ambience comes to fruition while touring the various levels of Ladera’s gravity flow winery.
Further exuding the chilling sentiment of the tour is a glance through the vineyard’s 18,000 square feet of caves.
