If diamonds are a girl’s best friend, then this pricey spirit should be a hit among the ladies.

Illinois-based Diamond Beverages has introduced Diamond Standard Vodka, a brand that the company says single-handedly establishes a new luxury category for vodka. Utilizing the world’s most costly filtration process (diamond filtration), and retailing for $79 per 750ml bottle, Diamond Standard Vodka was introduced earlier this month in Florida, with states including Illinois, Nevada and California set for early this summer and a national roll-out underway over the next seven months. Diamond Standard Vodka is said to fill a market void beyond the cluttered “Ultra-Premium,” category, breaking away from the vodkas priced in the $30-$40 range that we’re all used to purchasing from the grocery store. 

“Our goal with Diamond Standard Vodka is to produce the finest vodka in the world,” Diamond Beverages CEO Louis Amoroso said. “Consumers have had nowhere to go but sideways in the ‘Ultra-Premium’ category for some time. For those who want to try the best, we have created a vodka at an entirely new level and established a new ‘Diamond Standard’ – luxury.” Amoroso added, “We believe our timing is right. Even with economic fluctuations, consumers want the opportunity to treat themselves, and we offer an affordable luxury that can be savored.”
 
Diamond Standard Vodka is produced at Poland’s legendary Polmos Siedlce Distillery and is made from carefully selected Dankowski Diamond Rye, said to be the finest available. This pure grain Polish vodka is the result of an intricate process that includes four rounds of distillation, followed by four stages of filtration, including a diamond filtration process developed exclusively at Polmos Siedlce. The carefully guarded process involves the use of thousands of DeBeers diamonds to produce a spirit of incredible purity.
 
The final result is an exceptionally finished and pure vodka that creates the ultimate martini (The Diamond Martini), and is equally stunning whether served neat, on the rocks, or as a mixer.
 
The company says the vodka’s luxury status makes it deserving of the finest presentation. Diamond Standard Vodka is sold in a perfume-grade, award-winning Saverglass bottle.
