This last weekend, I traveled up to Eden, Utah, (about 50 minutes north of Salt Lake) to the Wolf Creek Utah Resort. Aside from taking in the scenery and basking in the luxurious accommodations, I found a whole new part of myself. The white-water rafting, fly fishing, hot air balloon riding-part of myself, that I never knew existed. I can’t attribute the effect to anything, except maybe the crisp air of the Ogden Valley that made me do it. Perhaps, it was the ease with which adventure was at my fingertips.

The on-site Wolfcreek Adventures team made it pretty easy to venture out for some adrenaline-filled fun by taking requests and amplifying them into experiences well beyond what I imagined. While this locale is the primo place for winter sports (Snow Basin and Powder Mountain are but a stones throw away), the abundance of nature and the nearby Weber River make it a great summer escape. - Nichole Brophy, Golf Editor.
