It’s no wonder Arizona is a hotspot for vacation-goers—year-round sun and serene desert terrain make the perfect backdrop for upscale resorts and spas. Now, with the brand-new Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain about to open its doors to the public, we can bet you’ll be heading to the Tucson desert for your next vacation or weekend getaway.

This 850-acre property, located in Marana (just northwest of Tucson) will make its debut this month, and you’ll finally be able to see what all the fuss is about—we promise, luxury lovers won’t be disappointed.

The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain will feature 250 gorgeous hotel rooms, including 24 individual guest casitas and The Ritz-Carlton Club Level and suites, which will all boast beautiful desert, golf course or mountain views. While the rooms themselves are bound to be luxurious, the resort’s amenities most definitely won’t fall short of your expectations. Aside from adventurous attractions like the 20-plus miles of hiking and biking trails, Jeep tours, cattle drives, stargazing, 235-foot waterslide and children’s programs, Dove Mountain’s Ritz will also include spectacular dining opportunities, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course (which is already open and home to the WGC-Accenture Match Play Championship) and a world-class spa.

The Ritz-Carlton Spa is the perfect opportunity to unwind while the kids are partaking in the children’s activities or splashing in the pool, or after a long day of golf. The 17,000-sq.-ft. space features 14 treatment rooms, two esthetic rooms, a hydrotherapy room, one Vichy shower and two oversized suites, perfect for couples and friends. Currently The Ritz-Carlton Spa is offering two tempting spa/resort packages to open the new property up with a bang. The first is the Signature Spa Package (from $449 per night), where you’ll receive overnight deluxe guest room accommodations, two 50-minute Ritz-Carlton signature massages, American breakfast for two each morning and overnight valet parking. The second is the Sonoran Golf and Spa Escape Package (from $529 per night with a two-night minimum), where you’ll get deluxe guest room accommodations, American breakfast for two each morning, two 18-hole rounds of golf, two 50-minute signature body treatments and overnight valet parking.
In addition to the resort, this Southwest property is also home to The Residences at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain. Located at the foot of the Tortolina Mountains, The Residences include eight customized home plans and three attached-villa plans, all of which include either golf course or desert views. The Residences range in size from 1,900 to 5,400 square feet, and an abundance of finishes are available for buyers to choose from, making for a fully customizable Ritz-Carlton home.
