Merry Christmas Eve! Today is the perfect day for cuddling up by the fire, doing some last-minute gift wrapping and enjoying a cup of hot chocolate. I wish I had one of these eco-friendly fireplaces as my Christmas gift this year! Maybe due to the great tax credit that EcoSmart Fireplaces get through 2010, it can be a New Year’s gift.

Zeta: Designed to be a conversation piece, Zeta is a fusion of timber, leather and stainless steel and sits on a brushed or polished stainless steel swivel base. The plywood body of the fire is shaped from high frequency heated aluminum, molded into an elliptical shape. A thin stainless steel firebox insert is molded to the internal face of the plywood, and the outer surface is upholstered in leather. Zeta is available in a variety of leather colors and retails for $10,900.
