The Canyons offers Holly Flanders Women’s Only Ski Clinics

I love skiing and The Canyons is one of my alltime favorite places to hit the slopes. It’s the largest ski resort in Utah, and has some of the best conditions I have ever experienced. I would really love to be able to attend one of these ski camps this winter:

The Canyons Ski and Snowboard School will be running Holly Flanders Women’s Only Ski Workshops and Brant Moles Steep Skiing Camps this winter. So, if you are looking for a great gift idea, these clinics are the perfect opportunity.
Holly Flanders, former Olympian, World Cup champion and Park City local, returns to The Canyons Resort to run her wildly popular women’s program. The workshops are unique because they enable women to improve their skiing in an atmosphere of support and friendship. Participants will enjoy a comfortable three days on the slopes with women who ski at their same ability while they gain confidence together to challenge themselves.
There will be three days of skiing with world-class athletes and instructors, plus no-pressure technique tips. Enjoy the experience of becoming a better skier. Individuals must be intermediate level skiers or above. Cost of the workshop only is $484. Lift tickets are sold separately.
The Holly Flanders Women’s Clinics are January 8-10, 2010; February 5-7, 2010; March 5-7, 2010.
The Canyons is also offering special Steep Skiing Camps, hosted by World Extreme Skiing Champion Brant Moles. Designed for intermediate to advanced skiers who want to take their big mountain skiing to the next level, this camp will provide you with the necessary tools to handle the more extreme terrain that you may encounter at The Canyons and other resorts.
This three-day clinic, led by one of the best Big Mountain skiers in the world, will focus on getting you to ski steeper, more technical terrain safely and confidently. Moles has been coaching and competing for years and will share with you the skills and techniques – both physical and mental – that helped him conquer some of the most extreme terrain and become a National and World Champion.
Brant Moles has been skiing for over 30 years. He is the 1997 World Extreme Skiing Champion, 1997 IFSA World Tour Champion and 1997 National Freeskiing Champion. Moles has been featured in more than 10 ski movies including 1999′s Imax film, Extreme.
The Brant Moles Steep Skiing Camps will run December 12-13, 2009 and March 5-7, 2010. Cost of the workshops is $484 for the three-day workshops and $260 for the two-day workshops. Lift tickets are sold separately.
Book either of these clinics and receive 20% off lodging at any of The Canyons four slopeside properties: the four-star Grand Summit Hotel, the brand new Escala Lodges, Silverado Lodge or the spacious Sundial Lodge. All four properties are at the base of the mountain and within steps of the Flight of The Canyons gondola.
