TAG Heuer Eyewear Releases the new C-FLEX Frame

Nobody will call you four-eyes when you are wearing TAG on your face.
TAG Heuer Eyewear is charting new territory with the introduction of the world’s first eyeglasses with carbon fiber, auto-adjustable arms. Practically weightless at .014 ounces, yet stronger than steel, the new TAG Heuer C-FLEX eyeglasses have recently been awarded the prestigious SILMO d’Or Gold Award as the industry’s Frame Technology Innovation leader.
Each arm of the frames is individually hand-carved in France with more than 20 layers of a single piece of carbon fiber. According to TAG Heuer Eyewear consultant and F1 racing champion Kimi Räikkönen, the finished look is at once classic and distinctly modern – and extremely easy to wear: “The C-FLEX is incredibly comfortable, you can literally forget you have them on.”
Carbon fiber has been widely used in aerospace, civil engineering, military and motorsports construction. The material’s properties – high-tensile strength, low weight and low thermal expansion – are now available in a “tech-cessory,” thanks to TAG Heuer Eyewear’s new C-FLEX glasses.
Appealing to tastemakers and fashion-forward thinkers, the rimless C-FLEX is available in four shapes and two colors – brushed ruthenium and polished black ceramic. C-FLEX eyewear is priced starting at $760, and is available exclusively at authorized TAG Heuer authorized retailers.
TAG Heuer – maker of high-end sports watches and chronographs since 1860 – has been applying the same standards for design and quality found in their timepieces to the creation of exceptional eyewear since 2002. All TAG Heuer “Avant-Garde” Eyewear lenses are shatter-resistant, ultra-light and provide 100% UV-A and UV-B protection. TAG Heuer Eyewear is available at authorized retailers nationwide.
