Texas car aficionados have something new to cheer about. British car manufacturer, Bentley Motors, announced today that the company’s newest dealership will begin operation in Austin starting in early April.

Bentley Austin marks the third presence of the successful status symbol retailer in the state of Texas. While the company will begin conducting business from an already established dealership, a new sales and service facility is currently in the works for the future. With the new dealership, the total number of Bentley retailers in North America rises from 40 to 47 (40 in the U.S., four in Canada, two in Caribbean and one in Mexico).

Over the past few years, the Bentley brand has expanded its retail availability exponentially. The company is on the hunt for primo commercial venues to expand their reach in the North American market. In 2007 Bentley added retail locations in Calgary, Alberta Canada and Naples, FL and in 2008 in Minneapolis, MN, Honolulu, HI and Salt Lake City, UT. The latest addition will be owned and operated by John Eagle Dealerships.

Bentley Austin will be open for business early April and will be located on Research Boulevard north of the city of Austin.
