With each new season, Executive Chef Mirko Cappa and his culinary team bring new and innovative dishes and menus to The Westin Resort & Spa Los Cabos. As summer is starting to get into full swing, The Westin is pleased to announce its latest seasonal menus and offerings at its two restaurants, La Cascada and La Playa, bringing a plethora of fresh new items for all to enjoy.

La Playa
At La Cascada Restaurant, guests can enjoy an elaborate new Sunday brunch, either indoors or outdoors in the ocean breeze, while taking in stunning views of the tranquil coastline. The recently launched Sunday buffet brunch is already drawing rave reviews from guests with its superb quality and generous quantities. Taking diners on an incredible culinary journey, the buffet offers guests fresh seafood options such as spinach stuffed and puff pastry wrapped Canadian salmon fillet; inventive antipasti and salads such as octopus and potato escabeche and spinach and prawns salad; a carving station serving prime meats such as sea salted and roasted prime rib, suckling pig, and New Zealand rack of lamb; decadent desserts including traditional cheese cake with raspberry couli, coconut and passion fruit mille feuille; live cooking stations; sparkling wine for the adults; and much more. Guests can also indulge in traditional Mexican fare a la carte, as well as power-packed smoothies and specialty coffees from a variety of regions in Mexico.
Located poolside with a spectacular view of the Sea of Cortez, La Playa restaurant has introduced its new summer menu featuring a wide selection of traditional and unique Mexican dishes including the lobster, prawn and sea scallop ceviche trilogy; prime barbequed meats such as rib eye, New York strip steak, and beef tenderloin; prawn burritos; fresh salads and sandwiches; assorted fajitas and nachos; and copious amounts of fresh local seafood. Executive Chef Mirko Cappa and his team have also prepared a variety of vegetarian dishes, and they offer the option to prepare particular favorites upon request.

La Cascada
