For those heading to Los Angeles, California for the Memorial Day weekend, get an early start and head to the Saddle Peak wine dinner featuring Ramey Wine Cellars of Healdsburg on May 21.

Saddle Peak Lodge, the legendary restaurant housed in an 1880 landmark building and located in the beautiful Santa Monica Mountains, will host an intimate evening with Ramey Wine Cellars of Healdsburg on Thursday, May 21 at 6:30pm. The cost is $175 per person, and reservations are limited to just 45 guests.

The menu, a collaboration between Chef de Cuisine Adam Horton, named among the Top 5 Rising Chefs in the nation by Gayot, and General Manager/Wine Director Iain Walling, begins with tray passed hors d’oeuvres followed by a four-course meal paired with various Ramey Wine Cellars vintages, including:

Tray Passed – 2006 Sonoma Coast Chardonnay

Duck confit tartlette

Albacore tartare with wasabi lime vinaigrette

Goat cheese panna cotta with roasted beet tartare

1st – 2006 Richie Vineyard Chardonnay
Crispy soft shell crab with marinated green papaya salad, peanuts
and curry essence

2nd – 2005 Napa Valley Cabernet
Grilled squab breast with brioche, cherries and balsamic vinegar

3rd – 2006 Napa Valley Annum Cabernet
Trio of buffalo with carrots and summer truffles

4th – 2006 Shanel Vineyard Syrah
Vanilla and Chinese five spiced apricots

Following the evening with Ramey Wine Cellars, only four Wine Dinners remain this summer and include:
