The Poetry Inn, Napa
By Nichole • Oct 23rd, 2009 • Category: California Hot Spots
When I lived in California, there was nothing my family enjoyed more that driving up to Napa for a day vineyard hopping. While in the region, we’d scope out eateries and shops in the cities surrounding the vino-centric cities.
In the region, the Poetry Inn is a hotspot with a central location to many local attractions. Now, visitors can take advantage of Whole House Rentals at the property.

Poetry Inn’s Whole House Rental offers private accommodations for five couples with every whim taken care of by Poetry Inn’s innkeepers. Whole House Rentals are the perfect indulgence for a special birthday celebration or holiday getaway. Innkeepers can arrange everything from cooking and wine education classes to Thanksgiving dinners prepared by one of Napa’s top chefs.
Poetry Inn’s spa services are the ultimate way to cap off a day in Napa Valley—indulge in a couples massage on your private terrace while gazing out at the sweeping views of the valley’s vineyards or escape to the tranquil treatment room for a relaxing facial and aromatherapy treatment.
Poetry Inn’s new spa offerings include Theraputic, Lomi Lomi and hot stone massages, in addition to facials and mud baths. Poetry Inn’s spa services are exclusively for guests at Poetry Inn.
Poetry Inn’s 2009-2010 Whole House Rentals range from $3,200 to $4,800 depending on the time of year. Costs are exclusive of any additional services arranged. Reservations can be made by calling Poetry Inn at 707.944.0646.
About the Poety Inn: In 2003, Cliff Lede purchased an existing property east of the Silverado Trail situated on Cliff Lede’s Poetry Vineyard. After an extensive renovation by architect Howard Backen, the newly named Poetry Inn opened in May 2005. Each room boasts a wood-burning fireplace, fine Italian linens, a king-sized bed, and both indoor and outdoor showers. Guests can live the life of a Napa Valley vintner for a night, enjoying a massage in the open air, sipping wine on a private terrace, or lounging by the pool. A mouthwatering three-course breakfast is the perfect way to start a full day of wine tasting. Guests also have the privilege of choosing rare wines from the Inn’s private cellar, which focuses primarily on Bordeaux and rare Napa Cabs. Poetry Inn offers the only public accommodations in the Stags Leap District. For additional information, please visit poetryinn.com.
