If you think these closing weeks of summer are taking discounted summer golf rates with them, think again. On the Monterey Peninsula, fall golf deals abound.

Bayonet and Black Horse Golf Club, voted the “Best 36-Holes on the Monterey Bay” following a multi-million dollar renovation by the Bates Golf Design Group, recently announced new “stay and play” packages with Inns by the Sea, the area’s premier collection of boutique hotel properties.

Inns by the Sea features five cottage-style hotels ranging from 13 to 35 rooms, all located in picturesque Carmel-by-the-Sea, one of the most sought-after shopping districts on the Peninsula.
