FAVORITE VALLEY MOM: Maya Thompson
Maya Thompson founded The Ronan Thompson Foundation in honor of her late son, Ronan, who passed away after a brave battle with neuroblastoma, and to fund research to find new and innovative ways to treat neuroblastoma, and ultimately, find a cure for this disease. “My day to day revolves around my kids and doing everything I can to make sure I am raising kind, articulate, passionate and strong human beings. Being a mom is the most incredible thing in the world and truly the most important thing that I will ever do in my life.” Thompson, who is also mom to 13-year-old twin boys and a 3-year-old daughter, is in the middle of writing a book about Ronan, in addition to running her incredible foundation. @rockstarronan.
