MOST INFLUENTIAL IN VALLEY NONPROFIT: Holly Rose

As a breast cancer survivor, Holly Rose (who was diagnosed at the age of 39) understands the importance of early detection and thus founded Don’t be a Chump! Check for a Lump! in order to fight against the disease through education, prevention and direct assistance with mammograms. Via the nonprofi t’s WIG OUT program, Rose has even aided in providing  800 women undergoing chemotherapy with free wigs. “Beyond those obvious direct impacts, our hope is to have a broader impact on our community and make a giant wave in breast cancer prevention education.” @checkforalump.
