Shopping List- Fall Hard for Tory Burch

As temps slowly dip, calendars fill up and the 900-page fall magazines hit mailboxes, it's hard to not think about fall trends and designer inspiration for the upcoming months. Usually we can narrow it down to 3-4 must-have pieces that will blend with our wardrobes and elevate us to that new level of fashion understanding for the season. Not so, this year. This year there are 50-60 indispensable pieces we just have to get our hands on. Thanks for nothing, Tory Burch!

Burch's fall collection is a bit of a disconnect from the bright colors, patterns and preppy tendencies she's known for, making for a fun but sophisticated assortment of looks and dozens of pieces we'll wear over and over and over again.

This time around, she's spun fashion gold from a few key concepts, including "the organic spirit of nature," pops of color, military influences and a touch of "eclectic French style". We are loving her separates, unusual pattern and texture combinations, luxe knit and jewel touches, and the limitless outfit ideas that keep popping into our heads.

Prepare to be inspired.

Ali Vest, $995
Metallic Zebra Skirt, $295
We could just cry we want to get our hands on this outfit so bad. A luscious shearling vest with gold and brown embroidery adds a cool, folksy accent to jeans and a tank, or can make evening wear look youthful and fresh. The accompanying metallic zebra silk pleated skirt is original and perfect for party time, but still versatile. Paired with a button-down, it can even pass at some offices.

Studded Satchel, $595
Studded Shoulder Bag, $395
Burch's studded satchel and shoulder bag add an instant rock and roll jolt to ladylike outfits. Perfect for those times you're looking for a little edge. The Veg leather has gold hardware and rows of gold studs. If you divide the cost by the number of wears (girl math), these make for an amazing value- especially the shoulder bag, which converts to a clutch.

Pigadia Tee, $125
Fur Vest, $1,950
Super Skinny Camo Pant, $235
Something remarkable is happening when a designer can turn camouflage into a neutral. Have you ever seen camo pants look so completely and utterly wearable? A superslim cut (and no cargo pockets!) make these the ultimate camo pant. Paired with this long-sleeved striped shirt and a Mongolian Fur vest? Fall perfection.

Wide Cuff With Logo Studs, $145

Skinny Cuffs with Logo Studs, $95

Get the look of Hermes for much, much less! These cuffs are luxe and classic enough to stand the test of time, yet still feel very of-the-moment. Worn on their own or doubled (or tripled!), these will see us through many seasons. It's rare that we find a piece of jewelry we can wear day-in and day-out, but these fit the bill. The Wide Cuff is available in black, and the thin are available in camel, brown and black.

Sequined Belleau Dress, $1,695
Amulet Belt, (no link yet- coming soon!) $195
Coming Soon! Though Tory is known to have designed little sequined cocktail dresses in the past (Serena Van Der Woodsen was seen in one on Gossip Girl!), she changes it up this season by going uber-glam and accessorizing with a tough, military-inspired amulet belt. We love the versatility of both pieces- but pairing them in such a way is pure Tory Burch.

Auxerre Legging, $225
Leather Legging, $995
Sueded Legging, $995
Burch told AFM in our March interview with her that one of the items she was most excited about for fall was the stretch leather leggings and other legging styles she's perfected. Her Auxerre legging (left) is beautiful merino. If you have the legs and wallet for it, splurge on the stretch leather (center) or stretch suede (right) pairs. There is nothing more comfortable than a pair of leggings, and these three pairs will become fall/winter staples.

Liv Jacket, $850
Evette Clutch (no link yet- coming soon!), $450
Irresistibly fun, Burch's 3/4-sleeve Crepe de Chine Liv Jacket and matching Evette clutch are smothered with thousands of pailliettes, and available in both "black stars" and "ivory". All it takes is one of these glittery pieces to carry you through the New Year with ease. Though it may be a bit warm now for silk and sequins (on anything!), these are perfect pieces to add humor and fun to even the simplest frock come October.

Please come, October.
