How does trying samples of just about everything barbecue you could possibly want for just $2 sound? If you’re a huge BBQ fan, then don’t miss the the Arizona BBQ Festival this Saturday, April 5. Featuring cooking demonstrations, live country and rockabilly music, a kids zone and all the barbecue you can imagine, the Arizona BBQ Festival is the place to be. Redneck attire is encouraged, along with a traditional bullet for the “best mullet” contest. 3. Phoenix Pride Parade and Festival
With the theme, “Be Heard, Stay Strong, Be You,” this two-day gay pride celebration is anticipating about 30,000 people in attendance. Featuring live entertainment and dancing, an arts expo, food trucks, a kids zone, and a health and wellness pavilion, this will be a sight to see. The parade will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, and the festival will kick off from noon-9 p.m.
