There’s never a dull moment in the Valley, and this week is no exception. With festivals galore, live performances, stand up comedians and great sporting events, there’s an array of unique events going on this week that you can’t afford to miss out on.  Featured below are the top 10 things to do this week in the Valley!

1. Urban AZ R&B Music Festival

Located in Phoenix at the Celebrity Theatre, The Urban AZ R&B Music Festival, presented by UrbanAZ.com, and is something you have to check out!  On Friday, the event will feature a fantastic headlining set by Keith Sweat, Mint Condition, Joe and Avant.  On Saturday, headlines will include Carl Thomas, Case, J. Holiday, and Silk.  There’s a little bit of something for everyone, so don’t miss out this weekend!

2. Arizona BBQ Festival

How does trying samples of just about everything barbecue you could possibly want for just $2 sound?  If you’re a huge BBQ fan, then don’t miss the the Arizona BBQ Festival this Saturday, April 5.  Featuring cooking demonstrations, live country and rockabilly music, a kids zone and all the barbecue you can imagine, the Arizona BBQ Festival is the place to be.  Redneck attire is encouraged, along with a traditional bullet for the “best mullet” contest.  Grab your family and friends, and come out to Salt River Fields at Talking Stick this Saturday for this epic BBQ extravaganza.

3. Phoenix Pride Parade and Festival

With the theme, “Be Heard, Stay Strong, Be You,” this two-day gay pride celebration is anticipating about 30,000 people in attendance.  Featuring live entertainment and dancing, an arts expo, food trucks, a kids zone, and a health and wellness pavilion, this will be a sight to see.  The parade will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, and the festival will kick off from noon-9 p.m.

10. Phoenix Bikefest

This free event brought to you by Area Harley Davidson Dealers offers guests the chance to emerge themselves into the life of motorcycles while also providing with live entertainment, Bike Shows, live music, and food and drink vendors.  One is even able to be daring at this event and get the chance to test drive a motorcycle.
