All these artists may not be new to the music scene, but that doesn’t mean they’re not just as good as they once were. A unique mix of New Kids On The Block, Nelly, and TLC will tour around the country for their Main Event Tour, which kicks off May 1 in Las Vegas. The tour is headlined by the popular boy band who rose to fame in the late 80’s and early 90’s. Joey McIntyre of the group told Good Morning America “It’s going to be a big, huge, massive party. That’s a lot of hit records in one night. I’m excited.” As for the name of the tour, Donnie Wahlberg, also a New Kids band member said, “…we just want to make it the party of the year. That’s why we call it ‘The Main Event.’ It’s going to be the event of the year.”
Fans can possibly expect a duet after Wahlberg proposed to Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas and Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins, the girls of TLC that “you have to do a duet with us.”
Another exciting feature of this event will be the 360-degree stage for an experience like no other.
