Arizona’s Lydia have announced their final performances of 2014, wrapping up what was a whirlwind year of touring and recording. The band have decided to treat fans in three exclusive cities with a final performance before calling it a year. The first of the three dates starts at The Roxy in Los Angeles on Friday November 28th. Continuing on through SoCal, Lydia will take the stage in the Voodoo Room at House Of Blues in San Diego. These two shows are the band’s first California appearances in nearly eight months. Naturally, a hometown show in Phoenix was a must for the band – they haven’t played Arizona since the start of their Illuminate Tour back in February. They’ll wrap up the live dates right before the holidays at The Pressroom in Phoenix on Saturday December 13th.

2014 was an exciting year for Lydia fans. The band toured extensively, starting off with the long awaited North American Illuminate Tour. This run featuring many sold out shows, saw Lydia play their 2008 fan favorite album live; entirely start to finish.

Now, these final shows follow the bands debut UK tour – one they embarked on after nearly ten years as a band. For Lydia fans, the new year will bring a new record – one the band has been working on in between tours this year. For now, Arizona and California fans can catch Lydia performing songs off their entire discography – including last year’s release of Devil.

Tickets for all three shows are on sale now, and can be picked up at the links below.

Lydia is an indie rock band from Gilbert, Arizona. Formed in 2003, front man Leighton Antelman along with a different array of band mates released three albums and took to the road for their first headlining tour in 2008 in support of their record Illuminate.

After a brief hiatus in 2010, the band returned in September 2011 with a new song, “Dragging Your Feet in the Mud” and their album, Paint it Golden, was released shortly after in October of that same year. Lydia’s success has led them to tours such as the Zumiez Couch Tour, Vans Warped Tour, and The Bamboozle Festival as well as extensive headlining and supporting tours.

In March of this year, Lydia released Devil along with the singles “Knee Deep” and “The Exit”. Produced by Colby Wedgeworth (The Maine, This Century), Devil follows up last year’s Acoustics EP. Lydia kicked off their album cycle with a North American headlining tour with support from Sweet Talker and From Indian Lakes.

In October of this year, Lydia released a deluxe version of the band’s March release, Devil, which features four brand new tracks as well as two acoustic versions of the songs “The Exit” and “Devil”. In support of Devil Deluxe, Lydia headed out with The Maine and Anberlin with a slew of headlining dates following.

Lydia is Leighton Antelman, Matt Keller, and Justin Camacho.
