Dillon Francis to Perform at Livewire for Big Game Sunday

Top-charting DJ and producer, Dillon Francis will perform at Livewire Sunday, February 1, 2015 with a special opening set by KISS FM’s  DJ Aaron Taylor. The L.A. native began his DJ career in 2010 and gained popularity with the help of popular producer and DJ, Diplo. Together the duo collaborated on the track “Que Que” which they performed in 2011 at Diplo’s Mad Decent Music Festival.

Francis moombahton song “Masta Blasta,” released in 2011 is accredited as the track that brought him to fame. In February 2012, he became the first moombahton artist to achieve the No. 1 spot on the Beatport releases chart with the release of his EP “Something, Something, Awesome.” In 2013, he was named MTV’s “Artist to Watch” when he released a remix of Justin Timberlake’s popular track “Suit and Tie.”

He has played at a number of festivals worldwide including Electric Daisy Carnival, Coachella TomorrowWorld, Ultra, and Electric Zoo. He has over 100 thousand subscribers on YouTube and over a million views on his top songs. Francis is known for his personality and alter egos DJ Hanzel, Becky, Rave Dad, Treva and more.

Francis latest album, “Money Sucks, Friends Rule,” release in August reached the No. 2 spot on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums. His most popular songs include “Get Low” with DJ Snake, “Set Me Free” with Martin Garrix and “When We Were Young.” He has created a number of remixes including his latest remix of Galantis’s song “Runaway (U and I).”
