Datsik Is Coming For You Tucson!

Disco Donnie Presents and Steve Levine Entertainment & Public Relations announced on Tuesday that dubstep producer and DJ Datsik’s FIREPOWER Tour will be making a stop at Club Congress in Tucson on October 16, 2012.

Known by fans as Datsik, British Columbia native Troy Beetles’ first two years in the scene led to an impressive early career, creating remixes for heavyweights like Diplo, Crystal Method and Bassnectar, racking up a series of No. 1 tracks on Beatport, and at one time holding five of the top 10 top tunes on its best seller’s chart.

This year, Datsik released his debut full-length album ‘Vitamin D’ on Dim Mak Records featuring collaborations with Infected Mushroom and Jonathan Davis of KORN on the dubstep/psy-trance combo track “Evilution” and with DJ Z-Trip on “Double Trouble.” He also began his own label, Firepower Records, hosting some of the bass communities up-and-coming DJ’s such as Delta Heavy, Bare Noize and Terravita.

The FIREPOWER Tour will unveil Datsik’s one-of-a-kind “Vortex” shaped booth, complete with groundbreaking, real-time 3D-mapping technology that will immerse Datsik inside wild, audio-reactive visual art while beaming light out towards the audience. The state-of-the-art setup will be paired with 50,000 watts of PK Sound, whose credits include Skrillex’s Mothership Tour and Excision’s X tour.

Datsik will be joined in Tucson by the UK’s own drum & bass and dubstep trio Terravita, 18-year-old bass head xKore, and San Jose native Getter.

The event is open to those 18 years of age and older. For tickets or more info visit www.sletickets.com.
