The Ford Lincoln Offers Phoenix Arizona Drivers Luxury With Record Reliability

On this blog we often focus on the practical interests and concerns of the average Phoenix Arizona motorist.  While we have published articles on high-tech super-sport cars and the adventure and excitement of attending the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and will continue to do so, we more often focus on new green technology (which equals lower gas expenditure), safety, and basic reliability issues.  With this article we again visit the new and revamped Ford Motor Company.

Lincoln is the luxury brand of the Ford Motor Company, and now, in addition to luxury, Lincoln leads the industry with the most reliable vehicles, according to a closely watched annual survey.  This marks the first time Ford Motor Company’s premium brand has captured the crown.

Lincoln ousted Porsche (no easy feat) in J.D. Power and Associates’ 2011 U.S. Vehicle Dependability Study released this week. Lincoln was followed by Lexus, Jaguar, Porsche, Toyota, Acura, Buick, Mercedes-Benz, Cadillac, Hyundai and Honda.  On this list you will notice the brands that are the common knowledge “go to” cars in the area of reliability, Honda and Toyota.  With this achievement, Ford, and more specifically the luxury Lincoln brand, deserves a closer look as a go to option in all areas of consideration, both in practicality and luxury.

The new 2011 Lincoln MKX (pictured below) is a great example of a strong luxury car.  The 2011 model of this crossover SUV offers Phoenix Arizona residents a redesigned front and rear fascia, a new lush and extravagant interior with all of the options, MyLincoln Touch (the next generation of the Ford Sync system), as well as a new 3.7L Duratec 37 engine, making this model the outer edge of the new face of Ford.

Phoenix Arizona residents can and should have a look at the 2010-2011 lineup at any Phoenix Valley Ford dealer.
