The 2011 Mini Cooper Countryman Offers an SUV With Vintage Euro Racing Style

The big push these days is toward electric and hybrid cars, but lets face it, at this point in game, the electric and hybrid models are not for everyone, and for Phoenix Valley motorists, who spend so much of their time on the road, feeling comfortable and confident in your vehicle is important.  While we take this into account, we also recognize the advantage of having a smaller and more fuel efficient car.

To this end I suggest the 2011 Mini Cooper Countryman.   Lightning fast acceleration, perfect transmission, excellent handling and braking,as well as a cool retro interior and exterior, the Mini Cooper brand has been delivering consistently high quality automobiles since 1959.  The new Mini Cooper Countryman proved to be no exception to that rule when the first concept prototype debuted at the 2008 Paris Auto Show, and the new Mini Cooper Countryman offers a luxury that other Mini models in the past have not, and that is room.

The Mini Countryman is a crossover SUV car, and is the first such car to be launched under the Mini Marque by BMW.  The official production model was announced in January 2010, and formally launched at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show as the first Mini crossover SUV, and the first 5-door model available since the brand’s founding.  It is offered with a choice of two or four wheel drive (known as ALL4), and with 1.6 L gas or diesel four cylinder engines in various states of tune.  Sales started in September 2010 as a 2011 model-year vehicle.

The 2011 model has also earned the IIHS top safety award after achieving “good” ratings for front, side, rollover, and rear impact protection.  As a complete package, the 2011 Mini Cooper Countryman is family friendly SUV coupled with a hip vintage Euro styling, old school racing aesthetics, and a high score on the environmental friendliness scale.

You can see and test drive a Mini Cooper Countryman for yourself at any Phoenix Valley area BMW dealer.
