Hot Rods at Westworld this Weekend

While the auto-auction season doesn’t come to Arizona until January, there are still opportunities to get your classic-car fix. This weekend, November 16-18, Goodguys Rod & Custom Association heads to Westworld for the 15th Southwest Nationals car show.

The event will feature close to 3,000 rods, customs and classics produced before 1972, indoor and outdoor vendor exhibits, a swap meet and cars for sale corral, Goodguys AutoCross, a model-car show, special exhibits, and more.

Goodguys produces 20 national events in 12 states and has an association boasting 70,000 worldwide members. Registration is available on-site for those wanting to become a member and show off their own vehicles.

Tickets are $18, $6 for kids 7 to 12, and free for kids 6 and younger. The event opens at 8 a.m. each day and runs until 5 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 3 p.m. on Sunday. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. Visit www.good-guys.com for more information.
