Just adjacent to this installation is the Tempe Post Office Gallery currently featuring “Maker”, which explores the role of artist as a scholar, scientist, entrepreneur and inventor. This exhibition highlights four local artists Jake Early, Jeff Falk, Christine Cassano, and Mitch Fry. These installations showcase artists as makers, producing work that is intricately detailed and demonstrate an innovative use of materials and creative ideas.  This exhibition will be on view until April 2, 2015. The Tempe Post Office Gallery is located at 500 S. Mill Ave, and is curated by Tempe Public Arts, for more information about this exhibition please visit Tempe Post Office Gallery.

Finally it’s time to head to the Tempe Center For The Arts, which is currently exhibiting the “TCA Biennial: Copper” coinciding with their seven-year anniversary featuring works on copper, art made of copper and artists inspired by copper, a tradition for seventh anniversaries. A panel of nationally recognized artists, curators and community members selected 22 Arizona artists from a wide array of visual art traditions, including bronze casting, painting, ceramics, etching, quilt making and jewelry. Copper is an important symbol and has played a significant role in Arizona history.
