It’s set to be a super sunny and toasty 95 degrees out today but in the fashion world, our eyes our on fall. And it’s not just in the vain hopes for cooler temps.
This Thursday, April 23rd, Fashion Group International is gearing up for fall by presenting their bi-annual Fashion Fever event. Each spring and fall, the Fashion Group International Fashion Fever event previews the hottest trends from the New York, Milan, London and Paris fashion collections. This Thursday’s Fashion Fever event spotlights the fall 2009 collections. You’ll get a comprehensive overview and preview of the fall 2009 trends during the video presentation at AMC Esplanade Theater across from Biltmore Fashion Park.
I’ve been to a few of these Fashion Group International Fashion Fever events and I can tell you, it’s definitely an incredibly detailed overview of the fashion trends to come. From fabrics and prints to colors and accessories, the groups compiles the trends in detail and it is presented in video format.You’ll see tons of runway shots from the international fashion weeks and leave with a firm grasp of the various trends to expect in the upcoming season. Buyers, editors, designers, industry professionals and anyone just plain interested in the fashion world can undoubtedly benefit from this event.
I would definitely recommend also hitting up the pre-screening party at Calypso St. Barth, Biltmore Fashion Park. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres will be served and you’ll be able to mingle with other fashion professionals and like-minded folks.
General public admission to the event is $40.
