It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and the excitement of picking out the perfect gifts has me chomping at the bit. Let’s not mention of course that I have been shopping twice since Thanksgiving and have nothing to show for it except a darling little tunic, sweater and jeans that I found at H&M. Truly this was the first shopping I have done is a while that was not for a photo shoot or a special occasion. And darling it felt divine… to me nothing feels quite like a bargain. It’s my own version of hunting and gathering and I suspect that other girls fancy the same type of thrill otherwise we would all be happy to succumb to full retail prices.
This year though I pressed and pressed for more specifics it seems that most of the people on my list simply have no other wants than new clothes and after a five year bender of buying nothing but gift cards I must say my excitement for opening gift envelopes has turned to boredom… so we are on to more handpicked items that cost less than $100…and the thought once again counts! I am ready for the challenge!
