Take a ride on the railroad track at McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park in Scottsdale where kids of all ages can come and ride on the Paradise and Pacific Railroad and an antique carousel. This historic park also has a variety of shops, a fantastic museum and large playgrounds that are sure to keep the young tykes busy for hours. Guy Stillman, the son of Anne and Fowler McCormick, was the innovator behind this park, which was offered to the city in 1971. Even the amazing Walt Disney wanted to buy the railroad from Guy to incorporate into one of his theme parks, but Guy refused and kept it in our backyard.
