After graduating from Bowling Green State University, the sports management major did a stint in public relations for the Cleveland Cavaliers. With his broad sports background, it’s easy to understand why the sports enthusiast’s most memorable round included picking up and replacing divots for pro football hall of famer John Elway.

“At Whisper Rock, I’d say my favorite loop was when I caddied for John Elway,” Yellen says. “Being from Cleveland, I watched him decimate my football team growing up. And it was pretty cool to get to meet him and spend a few hours with him.”

As for the perks of the position, Yellen says he’s just glad he doesn’t have to wait an eternity to get an office with a view.

“There are some people who work their whole lives to get out of a cube, just to get a window seat in an office with a view of the parking lot,” Yellen says. “I was at Whisper Rock for five minutes and I already had the best view in the building.”
