At Bridges Camp, girls ages 14 to 18 increase their self-esteem and learn other positive skills. Young women learn leadership as well as empowering health and fitness skills (yoga, Pilates and self-defense). The five-day Phoenix Suns basketball camp combines three greats: basketball, cool weather and one of the Phoenix Suns coaches—meaning if your kid likes to hoop it up, this is the camp for them. Players ages 7 to 18 stay nightly at Pine Summit Camp in Prescott and experience one-on-one instruction, loads of court time and much more. Your Shaq in training will receive a Phoenix Suns basketball and meet members of the Suns and Mercury teams. The camp is offered July 25-29. $495. Your kids will enjoy fun in the sun at the two-week Rim Country Camp’s Adventure Leadership Camp. Teens ages 13 to 17 will stay at Camp Thundercliffe, located in the Coconino National Forest near Flagstaff. Days are spent hiking, learning leadership skills, river rafting, kayaking, fishing and engaging in other sporty pursuits. Thrill-seeking youngsters will visit the Grand Canyon, Oak Creek, Mormon Lake, Verde River and the Blue Ridge Reservoir. Reservations before April 20 are recommended.
